Dangerous spot
To the editor:
I live in Avalon Apartments just off Ninth Street. In the past week alone, I have witnessed two separate accidents involving multiple cars. The hill at Avalon Road and Ninth Street is dangerous especially since no one seems to obey the posted speed limit of 30 mph. If the speed limit was changed to 20 mph on Ninth Street and closely monitored, perhaps the number of accidents at this dangerous spot would decrease. I feel lucky to have not been involved in one of these car accidents, but I fear that will not last for long.
