County OKs revision to Horizon 2020
During a quick Wednesday night meeting, the Douglas County Commission gave its approval to a revised chapter on transportation issues in Horizon 2020, the city-county planning document.
Commissioners, however, said they were deferring to the City Commission and the Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Commission on one issue.
That issue concerns the major thoroughfare map and extension of Peterson Road.
Horizon 2020 has been under revision for several months.
