Law enforcement report

¢ A 21-year-old woman told Lawrence Police she was raped by a man who gave her a ride home early Thursday. The woman reported the incident Saturday. She told police that she had asked a friend to give her a ride home but that the friend sent the man instead to pick her up. As they were driving about 3:30 a.m. in east Lawrence, the man stopped, showed a handgun and raped her outside the vehicle, she told police. Officers were trying to identify the man as of Tuesday.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ An orange U-Haul trailer valued at $4,552 was reported stolen Feb. 20 from 540 Kasold Drive.

¢ A 54-year-old Lawrence woman’s 1994 Buick valued at $4,000 was stolen between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday from the 3700 block of Pinnacle Court.
