Quit whining

To the editor:

The first and second paragraphs in your Feb. 17 editorial “Take a Stand” seem to equate the South Lawrence Trafficway with the war on terrorism.

You say, “This badly needed road has been delayed time and time again by various well-planned tactics.” Like what, a roadside bomb?

“The need for the trafficway is obvious, and state highway officials and local officials should use every means available:” What, like Bush is using domestic spying?

They are trying to build a road, not stop terrorists. And who would want all those utilities and the proposed sewer in their back yard? Would you?

Let the people work it out and stop being such a whiner, every time you go into this, it sounds like you’re whining.

You have your own problems.
