Henrickson reinstates junior guard Mosley

Kansas University women’s basketball coach Bonnie Henrickson said Monday she had reinstated junior guard Shaquina Mosley to the squad.

Mosley was suspended Feb. 14 for an undisclosed reason. At that time, Henrickson said, “It’s a decision I made in the best interest of the team.” Mosley missed games against Nebraska and at Iowa State, but practiced with the team Monday.

Asked a few weeks ago about why Mosley wasn’t playing, Henrickson said it was “a matter of concentration, intensity and focus.”

Mosley averages 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game and was voted preseason Big 12 Conference newcomer of the year by league coaches.
