Lawrence High wins state Scholars’ Bowl
Lawrence High School won the 6A state championship and Lawrence Free State won fourth place at the Kansas Scholars’ Bowl Saturday, an annual test of academic knowledge for high school students.
Lawrence High School edged out Wichita-East High School for the championship, while Leavenworth High School narrowly defeated Free State for third place.
LHS also won the event in 2000 and 2002.
