WRAP support

To the editor:

As a psychologist in Lawrence, I have worked with several students in the public school systems of Lawrence and Baldwin who have been helped very much by the WRAP program. It will be a serious loss to the community if we do not succeed in funding this very important program. Many of the students I have seen would never have finished school were it not for the attention and dedication of the WRAP workers in their schools. Others would have suffered far more serious depression and anxiety without the in-school support available through the program.

I cannot speak highly enough of this invaluable program and its benefit to our community. It would be a tragic loss if the program could no longer be funded. I will gladly give $100 to ensure the continuation of this program. I hope others will make a similar financial commitment.
