Turnpike project affects two county roads
East 100 Road in Douglas County is closed today at the Kansas Turnpike.
The closing north of Big Springs is necessary because of the turnpike lane-widening project. A turnpike bridge over the county road will be replaced.
East 500 Road at the turnpike, about three miles southwest of Lecompton, will reopen today.
