Olathe lands Lenexa tech services firm

Network Integration Services Inc. is relocating from Lenexa to the Corporate Ridge Office Park in Olathe.

The company, with 33 employees, is building the first of two 34,000-square-foot headquarters buildings in the office park, southeast of Ridgeview Road and Kansas Highway 10. The development is expected to cost $14 million.

The first building will include a technical center to be used for storing data on behalf of clients that include pharmaceutical, financial services and governmental operations. The space also will accommodate backup call centers.

The company is leaving 10,000 square feet of space after watching revenues increase 30 percent in each of the past five years, said Bob Jewell, senior vice president and board member.

“We think it’s the right place to develop,” he said. “Whether it’s at the Lawrence end or the Kansas City end, it’s the right place to be.”
