Severed cow’s head found on KU campus
A Kansas University employee found a severed cow’s head Tuesday morning on campus, KU police said.
Capt. Schuyler Bailey, a KU Police spokesman, said officers had no idea how it got there.
“We don’t have many of these, thank goodness,” he said.
The employee saw the head in the grass about 7:28 a.m. as she was walking on a stairway behind Strong Hall. She called police, and officers called the school’s facilities-operations department to dispose of the head, Bailey said.
