Trooper assigned to Douglas County

The Kansas Highway Patrol has assigned Trooper Brandon Koch to Douglas County.

Koch received the assignment after completing a 22-week basic law-enforcement course at the patrol’s Training Academy in Salina.

Koch studied electrical engineering at Kansas State University, after graduating from Clifton-Clyde High School in Clyde. Before joining the patrol, he worked for two years as a foreman at Component Fabricators, Manhattan.

Trooper Josh Kellerman is supervising Koch’s field duties. Koch will assume patrol duties in the county once his field training is complete.
