KUCTT will join Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, Mich., and Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., to create the telehealth resource center.

The initiative is a new concept organized and funded by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration’s Office for the Advancement of Telehealth, which has awarded about $1 million for the initiative.

This center will focus on improving the health care accessibility and quality for rural and underserved residents in Kansas, Indiana, Michigan and the Midwest.
