Sandy Crabaugh is the new vice president for production at North Carolina-based Amarr Garage Doors, which has its main production plant in the East Hills Business Park in southeastern Lawrence.

Crabaugh joined Amarr 12 years ago as a customer service supervisor, and most recently served as director of manufacturing.

She helped oversee expansion of the Amarr manufacturing center in Lawrence, and development of the company’s Classica Collection production line. Crabaugh remains actively involved in planning for a new production center, set to open in January in North Carolina.

She is a member of the company’s Strategic Planning Committee.

Crabaugh, an Olpe native, lives in the Kansas City area. She attended Emporia State University and is completing her degree in business administration from Baker University. Prior to joining Amarr, she worked with Artex Sportswear for 16 years.
