A 21-year-old Lawrence man was injured in a motorcycle accident about noon Thursday on Kansas Highway 10 in Lenexa.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Jason M. Hawkins was driving his 1992 Kawasaki too fast around an exit ramp curve at Renner Boulevard from the eastbound lanes of Kansas Highway 10.

He lost control on the ramp, and medics took him to Overland Park Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released, according to Gene Hallinan, hospital spokeswoman.
