River City Weekly’ discusses LINK history

Visit the Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen, better known as LINK, beginning tonight at 6:30 on a special "River City Weekly" encore.

Pam Casagrande, one of LINK's founders, Herman Leon, professor emeritus of social welfare at KU and vice president of LINK's board of directors, and former board president Diane Yeamans talk about the guests served, the history, and future of LINK.

Then Lawrence Memorial Hospital's John Drees, a registered nurse, shares more tips on what to do while waiting for an ambulance on "Better Health."

"River City Weekly," with host Greg Hurd, premieres on Sunflower Broadband Channel 6 at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays with replays at 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays, 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Mondays, and 10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
