To the editor:

On Sunday, Nov. 26, I completed putting up our outdoor holiday decorations with a new addition to our display. My wife, Suzanne, and I were very proud of what we were displaying.

The new addition was a homemade set of three candles: white, green and red on a white base with yellow flames. I placed the candle set next to the front door Sunday evening. Monday morning I walked outside, and it was gone.

Why would someone take this? Whoever took the candles, I want you to know that one of my neighbors saw your vehicle and gave me a very good description.

I trust if you read this in the paper, very shortly our set of candles, which represented love, faith and hope, will be returned to where you removed them.

If one of your neighbors see these in your yard, please call us, because these candles are one-of-a-kind.
