16 scholars named to Chancellors Club

Sixteen Kansas University students have received top honors as Chancellors Club scholars for 2006-07.

The club, a KU Endowment Association major-donor organization, honors National Merit finalists who had top high school academic records.

The winners are Christopher Bohling, Lawrence; Brenna Daldorph, Lawrence; Thora Whitmore, Lawrence; Lynne Lammers, Baldwin; Ryan Schirmer, Berryton; Laura Edwards, Leawood; Christian Hinton, Overland Park; Nameer Baker, Manhattan; Justin Leverett, Carbondale, Ill.; Allison Akins, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; Rebecca Getman, Chesterfield, Mo.; Timothy Schisler, St. Louis; Kathleen Polonchek, Stillwater, Okla.; Emily Tonsfeldt, Stillwater, Okla.; Kyle Moller, Grapevine, Texas; and Brian Mason, Fort Worth, Texas.
