Mary Brooks, Lawrence, owner of Mary Brooks Indexing and Editorial Services, has completed Basic Indexing, a USDA Graduate School comprehensive training course for back-of-the-book indexers.

Brooks has more than 20 years of writing and editing experience, primarily in textbook and educational publishing. A member of the American Society of Indexers, she completed the index for “Public Power, Private Dams: The Hells Canyon High Dam Controversy,” a new title published by University of Washington Press.
