David Ice, Lawrence, has been elected director of District 6 of the Manufacturers’ Agents National Assn., an organization with 23,000 independent sales and marketing entrepreneurs and their principals in the United States and Canada.

District 6 covers Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Ice is a charter member of the association’s Kansas City Chapter, established in 2001, and continues as its program chairman.

In April 2000, Ice founded Ice & Associates, a manufacturers’ representative firm focused on selling products to the aircraft, agricultural, heavy construction and industrial equipment manufacturing industries. Ice has 40 years of experience as a sales engineer, product manager and sales manager with component manufacturers.
