Kansas University has appointed two associate vice provosts for student success: Lori Reesor and Frank DeSalvo.

Reesor comes to KU from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she is associate dean of education and an assistant professor.

DeSalvo has been KU’s special assistant to the vice provost during the last year on an interim basis. DeSalvo has been director of Counseling and Psychological Services at KU since 1991. Vice Provost Marlesa Roney has named Pam Botts, clinical director of CAPS, to serve as its interim director. A national search will be launched soon.

Both began their new roles this summer following an April announcement about their promotions.
