Two area residents have been elected to leadership positions in livestock-related associations.

Kalli Keen, Baldwin, is serving a two-year term on the Junior Advisory Committee of the National Junior Holstein Assn. She was elected to the position during the association’s national convention in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Michelle Colgan, Lawrence, is vice president for the North Central Region of the American Junior Simmental Assn., after being elected during the association’s recent National Classic XXVI meeting in Madison, Wis.
