Douglas County Connection, a group of area professionals dedicated to the promotion and growth of businesses owned by group members, announces the election of officers and addition of two members.

Officers elected by the group are Jamel Sandidge, of Brown Recluse Solutions, president; Denise Van Sickel, of Lawrence Pet Friends, vice president; Dan Huston, of Danielsan Electric, treasurer; Dave Greenbaum, of Dr. Dave, membership chairman, and Becca Booth, of Jayhawk Broadcasting, promotional chair.

New group members are Jay Rusk, owner of Heartland Home Inspections; and Joleen Morris, owner of Old World Pottery.
