Five people from the Lawrence area are among those caught by the U.S. Marshals Service in a roundup of fugitives wanted on arrest warrants :

• Valerie Reyner, 41, Jefferson County, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
• Jay Freeman, 31, Douglas County, failure to appear in court.
• James L. Alston III, 18, Douglas County, two counts of robbery.
• Billy G. Bennett, 33, Douglas County, three counts of forgery.
• Towanda L. Scales, 45, Douglas County, parole violation for robbery.
