The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce’s annual Leadership Celebration Breakfast will honor graduates of the 2006 Leadership Lawrence class.

The breakfast will be from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday in the Kansas Union Ballroom.

“This has been a spectacular class to work with, and I’ve enjoyed every day that we’ve had together,” said Sue Hack, program director. “They’ve all been very enthusiastic about Lawrence and the leadership skills that they have learned.”

The 25 members of the class visited community agencies and attractions and heard from speakers on a variety of topics, among other coursework.

The chamber also will present its annual leadership awards. This year’s winners: Lynne Green, of Van Go Mobile Arts, 2006 Don Volker Award; Earl Reineman, of Weaver’s Inc., Wally Galluzzi Chamber Volunteer Award; and Ray Wilbur, of Bishop Seabury Academy, Buford M. Watson Jr. Public Service Award.
