STANLEY ? Free State High’s swim team won the Blue Valley quad on Thursday.

The Firebirds tallied 88 points. Blue Valley West was second with 69, followed by Topeka Hayden (21) and St. James Academy (8).

Firsts were claimed by Becca Glass (200 free, 500 free), Ashley Robinson (200 IM, 100 fly) and Kelsi Michler (100 free).

Free State’s 200 free relay and 400 relay also won.

The Firebirds next will compete Thursday at Lawrence High.
