Dunn Bros Coffee coming to 23rd St.
Dunn Bros Coffee is moving into the former home of Pat’s Blue Rib’n Barbecue, 1618 W. 23rd St.
Dunn Bros is a Minneapolis-based chain of coffee shops, where beans are roasted on site and free wireless Internet access is provided. The Lawrence store, at 1,700 square feet, will be the chain’s first in Kansas, joining more than 60 existing locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Missouri and Texas.
The place is set to open at 6 a.m. April 28.
Owners of the Lawrence store are two married couples from Olathe: Eric and Martha Schmidt, and Ann and Dan Ernst.
