Local productions win Telly Awards

¢ “Hurricane Katrina: We Care,” by Free State Studios, 6News and Sunflower Broadband, won a Bronze Telly.

¢ “The Turnpike: Koufax,” by Free State Studios and producer Kevin Dobson, won a Bronze Telly.

The 27th-annual competition received more than 12,000 entries from ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable operators and corporations worldwide. The awards honor outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as video and film productions.
