Douglas County commissioners will discuss cleanup of dump sites at Black Jack Battlefield east of Baldwin at their meeting this morning.

Earlier this year commissioners voted to provide 25 percent of the cleanup cost. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said it would pay the remainder.

The commission also will:

¢ Consider approval of a request to use County Road 1055 for the 2006 Baldwin Bicycle Race set for June 24-25.

¢ Consider approval to purchase a vehicle for Douglas County Emergency Management.

The commission will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the second-floor courtroom of the Douglas County Courthouse, 1100 Mass.
