The Lawrence Bicycle Club will host its 36th Octoginta ride and events Saturday and Sunday.

Registration lasts from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday at 11th and Massachusetts streets, at the South Park Recreation Center. It is limited to the first 1,000 riders.

Saturday’s events include a time trial that starts at 8:30 a.m. at 1400 Road and 1750 Road. The entry fee is $17, and $10 for juniors. Other events Saturday include a Tour de Country for $5 at 9:30 a.m.

The Octoginta Ride begins at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at South Park. Riders have an option between an 80-mile or a 40-mile ride through Northeast Kansas.
