Dumbest ever
To the editor:
It is my understanding that roundabouts are supposed to eliminate traffic congestion, be safer, and more efficient than traffic signals and cross intersections. I am sure there are places where this type of traffic control is needed. However, I would like to know who was the mastermind behind the roundabout on Clinton Parkway. Whoever you are, congratulations! On what will surely rank as one of the dumbest things ever built in Lawrence.
