Be prepared
To the editor:
Of all the people I have heard placing blame on the way the hurricane disaster was handled, not one had even donated a can of beans to help the people in the Gulf area. I would love to hear them say they had donated a few dollars to help the unlucky folks who have had to bear so much bad and stop trying to place the blame. What good does that do?
I do believe every area where a disaster is possible should have a plan, someone in charge of seeing the plan was up to date and ready when needed, someone reliable, always in charge and knowing what to do. Would that be so impossible?
