Pancake feed to benefit homeless shelter
A pancake feed today will benefit a local homeless shelter.
The benefit for Lawrence Community Shelter, will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen at 10th and Kentucky Streets. The suggested donation is $3 for a meal of pancakes, sausage links, juice and coffee.
The food will be cooked and served by staff and clients of the shelter, formerly known as the Lawrence Open Shelter and Community Drop-In Center.
