Bush woes

To the editor:

Can we see now that President Bush has no clothes?

Facts: Bush was given the strongest economy in U.S. history; Bush has the record for private bankruptcy; projected 2015 deficit of $4 trillion; record Enron scandal; gasoline at $3.50 per gallon (Anyone know that Condoleezza Rice has an oil-tanker named after her?); thousands of jobs lost overseas; value of dollar consistently has dropped; growing trade imbalance; eight countries told us before 9/11 that we would be attacked by planes crashing into buildings; Cabinet official Richard Clark repeatedly warned President Bush about attack threat; no one has been censured, demoted or fired for the 9/11 failures; Bin Laden still free; Bush lied to Congress/ U.S. public about need to invade Iraq (Read Downing Street Minutes); Bush withdrew U.S. from World Court of Law/changed our definition of torture; Iraq is breeding ground for terrorists, close to Civil War; most service members on their third tour of duty; veterans benefits have been cut; Bush ignoring scientific evidence about global warming; Bush lied that a Gulf Coast disaster was unforeseeable; 2001 Corps of Engineers listed New Orleans as in top three potential disaster areas from a hurricane; administration lied that Gulf Coast flood control was a top priority; Bush cut money every year on New Orleans flood prevention programs, funneling that money to Iraq.

I don’t care how many hours a day Bush works out, cover the eyes of the kiddies, this isn’t a pretty sight.
