Two people were taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Wednesday afternoon after police were sent to investigate a fight at an eastern Lawrence residence.

About 1:30 p.m., police found one person bleeding outside a residence in the 1300 block of New Jersey Street, a department spokesman said.

Police officers found blood on the door and three people inside.

At least one of the people injured suffered head injuries, a police said. There was no other information available about their conditions.

Several detectives spent the afternoon at the scene investigating the incident, but no arrests were made.
