This season, the Lions hope to improve on their kicking game. Over the summer, Lawrence High head coach Dirk Wedd asked LHS girl’s soccer player Abby Vestal about kicking for the Lions. Although she gave Chris Cates plenty of competition, Cates will kick for the varsity while Vestal will kick for the JV team.
