Lawrence Police said Friday that in the past 24 hours they handled:

¢ 33 reports

¢ one burglary

¢ two thefts

¢ nine non-injury accidents

¢ one injury accident

Injury Accident

¢ One person was injured late Friday after an accident involving a four-wheeler near the Douglas-Johnson county line.

Emergency workers were called at 10:15 p.m. to a location near the intersection of E. 2400 Road and N. 1400 Road. A dispatcher said that a LifeStar helicopter was called to the scene.

It was unknown Friday night whether the individual was flown from the scene or how seriously injured the person was.
