KU begins advertising open provost position

Kansas University has begun advertising for the provost/executive vice chancellor post to fill the seat of David Shulenburger who announced in September he will return to teaching at the end of June.

An advertisement appears in the Chronicle of Higher Education and Diverse, a publication formerly called Black Issues in Higher Education. There also are online postings with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, the American Council on Education’s Office of Women in Education, and the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges.

Applications are coming in now, said Jeff Aube, the search committee’s chairman.
