Lawrence Soroptimist Club is sponsoring a Women’s Opportunity scholarship for a Douglas County woman enrolled in an undergraduate educational program or who plans to attend college in the near future. Recipients may use the $2,000 award for any expenses related to their educational pursuits. The scholarship is a national program sponsored by more than 119 Soroptimist clubs internationally. More than $1 million is awarded annually.

Local Women’s Opportunity awardees are eligible to apply for additional scholarship awards of up to $10,000.
