The 14th Annual Heart of America Marching Festival is set for Saturday in Kansas University’s Memorial Stadium.

The event will feature 24 high school bands from Kansas and Missouri, including Lawrence High School and Free State High School.

The festival will run an afternoon session and an evening session, and several bands will perform in both.

The first band performs at 12:30 p.m. The KU Marching Jayhawks will conclude the event with an exhibition performance at 10 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens and $1 for preschoolers.
