An intoxicated woman barged into City Manager Mike Wildgen’s Old West Lawrence home early Sunday morning.

Wildgen said he awoke to a commotion about 4 a.m. Sunday and discovered two women on the front porch of his home at 801 La.

One of them had opened his screen door, and when Wildgen opened his front door from the inside, she came into his front alcove, collapsed on the floor and started kicking, he said.

“She was drunk and yelling, not making any sense,” Wildgen said.

“I shouldn’t have opened that door. I didn’t realize she was that far gone.”

Wildgen called police, who dragged the woman out of the alcove and arrested her on suspicion of criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing. Jail records identified her as Katrina R. Geller, 21, of Kansas City, Mo.

The woman’s companion wasn’t arrested.
