Panel to discuss seat belts on school buses
As part of School Bus Safety Week, Lawrence Memorial Hospital will host a discussion on the merits of requiring seat belts in school buses.
The hospital will host a panel discussion at 6:30 p.m. Monday at LMH’s auditorium.
The panel will included Phyllis Larimore, registered nurse with Children’s Mercy Hospital, Wayne Zachary, from Laidlaw Transportation and Jeff Halloran from the Kansas Safety Belt Education Office.
The event is free and open to the public, but people can reserve a seat by calling 749-5800.
