Lawrence Police said Friday that in the past 24 hours they handled:

¢ 265 calls

¢ 28 reports

¢ one burglary

¢ six thefts

¢ six noninjury accidents

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Someone reportedly stole power tools valued at roughly $1,600 from the 1900 block of East 1300 Road. It happened between Sept. 23 and Oct. 7, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
