KU women will see plenty of TV time

All but two of Kansas University’s women’s basketball games will be shown on TV this season, KU officials said Tuesday.

Included are two Fox Sports Net games as part of the Big 12 Conference package – Feb. 18 at Iowa State and Feb. 25 against Missouri in Lawrence – as well as three games on FSN regional television.

The Jayhawks have three national broadcasts on CSTV – the Big 12 opener against Texas on Jan. 3, on Jan. 28 at Baylor and against Kansas State on March 2.

Locally, 14 games will be produced and aired by Sunflower Broadband, and five contests will be produced by Metro Sports of Kansas City.

“This television package is among the best in the country, and we’re excited to be able to give our fans the chance to follow us throughout the season,” Kansas women’s coach Bonnie Henrickson said.
