A motorcycle run to benefit foster children of The Farm Inc. will be held Oct. 22, starting in Lawrence. Riders participating are asked to bring a toy for a child of up to 18 years old.

Bikers will line up in the Lawrence Wal-Mart parking lot, 3300 Iowa, between 11 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. The run begins at noon and will go to the Topeka Wal-Mart parking lot and then to the Perry Community Center. A chili feed will follow the run and a $3 per person donation is requested.

The Farm Inc. is a nonprofit behavioral health and child welfare agency and is the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services’ community-based services provider for foster care and family preservation. The agency also provides adoption and family services across the state.
