Vehicle strikes, kills Ottawa pedestrian
Ottawa ? An Ottawa man was killed Saturday night when he was struck by a vehicle on Kansas Highway 68 near Ottawa.
The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the victim as Robert L. Manheim, 48.
A patrol report said Manheim was walking east along the highway about 8:20 p.m. and then attempted to cross the highway. He was struck by a westbound 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Tonya E. Turnbaugh, 32, Quenemo. Turnbaugh was not injured.
