Investigation continues into slaying at store
Bonner Springs ? The investigation continues into the homicide of a Tonganoxie woman killed Friday evening at the Dollar General store in Bonner Springs.
According to Kansas City, Mo., Police Detective Jeff Cowdrey, officials are coming closer to making an arrest in the robbery-homicide of Robin Bell, the store manager.
Bell, 44, was found in the back of the Dollar General store early Saturday morning with what police describe as severe head wounds.
Cowdrey says an autopsy was performed but police are not releasing any details.
He says the investigation is not moving as fast as he would like, but he hopes to make an arrest by the end of the week.
