The Salvation Army needs volunteers to ring bells for the 2005 Christmas Campaign.

The campaign runs through Christmas Eve.

Volunteers can be individuals or members of civic clubs, student organizations, church groups and businesses. There are 17 kettle locations at businesses across Lawrence. The funds raised will go to assist needy residents of Douglas County during the holidays and beyond, with such things as food, toys, rent and utility assistance.
