Partisan spin
To the editor:
I had to chuckle when I read the Saturday Column of Nov. 5. Its author decries the Democrats’ persistence in investigating the recent White House scandals and insists that it is all partisan politics. Does anyone remember the relentless pursuit of President Clinton by the Republican spin machine? I am reminded of a time when I was little when my mother broke up a fight between me and my sister. When my mother asked what had happened, my sister cried, “It all started when she hit me back!”
