Kline challenger to chat online today

Paul Morrison, the Johnson County district attorney who recently switched party affiliation from Republican to Democrat to run for Kansas attorney general, will take part in an online chat today on the Journal-World’s Web site.

The chat will begin at 3 p.m. today on www.ljworld.com.

Readers may submit questions for Morrison before or during the chat. A transcript will be posted during the chat and be available afterward.

Morrison, who has served as Johnson County’s district attorney since 1989, announced his intentions to switch parties last month to run in 2006 against Atty. Gen. Phill Kline, a conservative Republican.
