Papa Keno’s faces $147,000 tax warrant
A long-standing downtown pizza shop owes nearly $150,000 in unpaid taxes, according to court records.
Papa Keno’s Pizzeria, 1035 Mass., owes $140,731 in sales taxes from 2003 to 2005, plus another $6,484 in withholding tax from 2004, according to a tax warrant filed last month in Douglas County District Court by the Kansas Department of Revenue.
The restaurant’s owner, Greg Keenan, didn’t respond to a request seeking comment on the case.
